PASTOR SOLOMON NELSON

Pr. Solomon Nelson was born and raised in a traditional Pentecostal family. His birthplace is Ayur, Cheruvakkal in Kollam District. He was raised in parsonages since his parents Pr. Nelson Joshua and Mercy Nelson been in full-time ministry pastoring different parts of Kerala. His parents were very keen on nurturing and training their two children in the fear of the Lord. At the age of 11, he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior, and later on Feb 20, 2000, he witnessed the Lord in water baptism. God blessed Pr. Solomon to minister through preaching, teaching, mentoring, leading worship, Sunday school, VBS, and different youth ministries.

At the age of 18, Pr. Solomon committed his life for God’s work after understanding God’s purpose for him through a direct encounter with God. He commenced his Theological Education at Kerala Theological Seminary, Kottarakkara and completed his Bachelors. Right now, he is pursuing Master of Divinity. In 2007, he moved to the US as an immigrant. He served as the Malayalam Worship Director and Sunday School Director and was actively involved in different ministries of IPC Tabernacle, Dallas for several years since 2008. In between God opened doors for him to pastor in two different churches in Texas. He is passionate about mentoring, discipleship and developing a godly generation in a diverse and changing culture. Pr. Solomon is married to his lovely wife Anu, who is a nurse by profession and together they are blessed with a beautiful girl Johanna. He loves to spend time with his family and motivate others to accomplish their dreams in life.
